What you need to know
- Minimum age to drive a Jet Ski is 18 with a Valid ID. If you are between the ages of 18-20, you MUST be accompanied by someone who is at least 21 years of age, and the 21+ adult MUST be the one paying for your ski(s) and they MUST be willing to sign the rental agreement on your behalf and accept financial responsibility. The 21+ adult MUST be present in our location and we will match the name on the credit/debit card used to book the reservation with their ID showing they are 21+ - No EXCEPTIONS and NO REFUNDS if you book and arrive without someone 21+ as we reserve skis for your adventure which blocks us from renting the ski to someone else.
- Ages 6 and up can ride with a jet ski driver 30 years of age and up.
- Know the rules of safe boating in the Texas Water Safety Act.
- Must have and show a valid Government ID. No Exceptions.
- We reserve the right to deny service if the person(s) are intoxicated, and no refund will be provided. We have a breathalyzer on-site and will request a breath sample if we feel someone has been using alcohol over the legal limit.
- Be Early! Show up 45 minutes before your reservation. Being late will only cut into your reservation time so don‘t be late!
- A maximum of 2 people can ride on a Jet Ski. Total weight must be less than 400lbs.
- If the total weight of the rider(s) is too much, we will require you to rent an additional Jet Ski, if available.
- 100% refund if the cancellation request is more than 24 hours from the time of reservation. No refunds within the 24 hour window.
- We only have USCG Lifejackets for 90 lbs and up. If you require a jacket less than 90lbs, you are required to bring your own US Coast Guard Approved Life Jacket.
- All Jet Ski riders will be required to sign our hazard / indemnity waivers and our watersports safety rules and regulations notice. Any rider found breaking our rules and regulations while on the water will be escorted back to shore and no refund will be granted. No exceptions.
- If you were born on September 1, 1993, or after, you need a boater's safety card to rent a Jet Ski. Texas Parks and Wildlife Boater Education Courses: Must present a Valid Driver's License or Passport.
- If you were born after September 1, 1993, and don't have a boater's safety card, you can visit the Blue Marlin or Island Market and purchase a 14-day boater safety course waiver and show it to our staff, and we can rent you a Jet Ski :)
